The dominant elements of the Hochar Père & Fils wine include the intense sweetness brought by the Grenache grape variety, despite the fact that this variety represents only a quarter of the entire Blend. Delicious notes of ripe berries and abundant fruitiness can be found in the fragrance. The fruity taste is supported by spicy, cherry, raspberry and licorice tones. The aftertaste is long and very pleasant. Decanting increases the enjoyment of this wine and the recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees. The grapes (50% Cinsault, 30% Grenache, 10% Carignan, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon) were picked by hand from a vineyard in the village of Aana, at an altitude of 1000 meters. After 15-30 days of maceration, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels for 9 months.
