Huhtamaki's paper cups are made from PEFC-certified board and feature a plant-based PE plastic coating. The products have the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Plastic is used to protect the board from moisture and to seal the seams of the cup. The cups should be disposed of with packaging board for recycling.
