Clarified butter, i.e. ghee, is an excellent choice of fat for deep-frying and normal frying, for example. Clarified butter withstands a higher baking temperature than usual and is therefore suitable for e.g. for frying French fries, donuts and blinis, or even simply browning meat. Ghee can also be used like a normal spread on bread or in bulletproof coffee, i.e. butter coffee.
