The tablet is easy to swallow, and contains iron bisglycinate, an organic amino acid chelate. Amino acid chelated iron is well tolerated and immediately ready for absorption, and it does not interfere with the absorption of other trace substances. Thus, the tablet can be taken independently of meals. One tablet contains 100 mg of amino acid chelated iron and 80 mg of vitamin C, which increases the absorption of iron.
