Rodenbach Alexander was brewed for the first time for the 200th anniversary of Alexander Rodenbach's birth in 1986. The production was stopped at the beginning of the 2000s and now, due to high demand, this beer has been included in the production program again. Alexander is produced once a year in a limited batch, and it will go on sale in late spring. In Alexander, 2/3 of old Rodenbach is mixed with one third of young Rodenbach macerated with sour cherries. The result is a wonderfully fresh, fruity and refreshing specialty!
