Here at Snellmans we've been making salamis since the 1950's so it's fair to say we've got long traditions and proper craftsmanship. The making of salamis is still to this day strict handiwork to ensure the best flavour and texture. We use no horsemeat in our salami, only Finnish beef and pork meat. For smoking we use alder and birch chips and then we simply give the product time to mature.
