The inspiration for the Pilsner came from across the Baltic Sea, from the German brewing tradition. The beer´s hopping is spicy with herbal notes. In addition to the beer, the bastion Höpsen, part of the oldest section of Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, was also named after Count Anders Johan von Höpken.
