The first purely Chardonnay-producing vineyard was planted on the Cousiño-Macul vineyard in 1968 and large-scale production began in the early 1980s. The wine is made and stored in steel tanks. The grape skins have been present at the beginning of the fermentation and the wine has been stored ’sur lie’,on fermentation deposits,in order to obtain as aromatic and fresh a wine as possible.
