Hirvelä Sydänkaura is a health-promoting oat product made in Finland. It is rich in protein and contains both soluble and insoluble fiber from oats. Regular intake of oat soluble fiber, beta-glucan, has been shown to lower blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease*.
