Since the 2015 vintage, the wines from the Le Corti estate have been certified organic. Le Corti Chianti Classico is also suitable for vegans. The grape composition is 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo and Colorino. The wine is aged for 12 months in cement tanks, with part of it matured in large oak barrels. The word "Classico" indicates that the wine comes from the heart of the Chianti region, and the black rooster, Gallo Nero, on the back label signifies that the producer’s standards are even stricter than those of the authorities, who have granted the wine the highest DOCG status.
