Whole grains are often associated with the Nordic grains such as wheat, barley and oats, but rice is also part of the grain family. Whole grain rice flour is made from unpolished, whole grain rice. All the components of the rice grain (kernel, seed white and bran) are included in the flour, which is the very definition of the term whole grain. Suitable for e.g. baked goods, porridge.
