Dry and well-balanced, with refreshing acidity. The palate is highly aromatic and fruit-driven. The lively acidity is well balanced by the gentle roundness imparted by 10 months of oak ageing. The grapes used for Signature Chardonnay come from the prestigious appellations of Puligny, Meursault and Rully. The majority of Maison Champy’s 22 hectares of vineyards in the Côte de Beaune are organically farmed. The aim of organic viticulture is to allow the wine to express this exceptionally beautiful terroir as authentically as possible, without excessive intervention in the natural growing environment. All winemaking practices follow the principles of sustainability and organic farming.
