Kespro to digitize deposit returns starting 1.10.2025

Kespro is updating its return practices for deposit-based returnable packaging as part of its broader effort to digitalize delivery processes. Starting October 1, 2025, all deposit returns will be handled digitally via the Toimitukset service.

What Does This Change Mean?

Returnable packaging with a deposit—such as collection boxes, brewery pallets, and beverage crates – will no longer be returned using paper forms. The previously used return form will be discontinued, and drivers will no longer accept returns in paper format. Instead, all returns must be submitted in advance and digitally through the Toimitukset service before the delivery arrives.

For non-deposit distribution packaging—such as roll cages and meat boxes — the current process remains unchanged. No return notification is required for these items.

How to Make a Digital Deposit Return

1. Log in to the Toimitukset service at toimitukset.kespro.com using your Kespro credentials.
2. Go to the section “Create and Track Returns.”
3. Select “Create a New Return or Edit an Open Return.”
4. Mark the returnable items and their quantities.
5. Review the summary and save.
6. Confirm the return logistics according to the instructions in the Toimitukset service.
